Etchells 585 After casually sailing for several years this Etchells has been out of the water for the last 3 years. She was built by Ontario Yachts in 1983 Hull 585. Price is 10,000 OBO.
Some of the recent work and maintenance include:Bottom faired and 3 coats of Interlux barrier coat. Top sides faired, primed and Awlgrip painted white. New Ipe keel board. New tiller with 6 coats of varnish. New bilge pump hose. New wheels and tires on trailer. New high tech jib halyard and main halyard.
Other features:Kenyon mast. Extendable carbon fiber bow sprit(for PHRF racing and removable for One Design). Asymetrical spinnaker for PHRF racing. Full boat cover that needs a few repairs. Manual bilge pump. Mast mounted compass. Outboard bracket not installed. Sails in various conditions:5 mains, 6 jibs, 3 symmetrical spinnakers, 1 asymmetrical spinnaker.
